CAFCL: Simba SC Shock Plateau United At Home

It was a bad day in office for Nigeria campaigner in the CAF Champions League Plateau United as they suffered a home defeat to Tanzania champions, Simba SC, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The match played at the New Jos Stadium saw hosts dominating the opening proceedings with the exchange of passes.
Government delegations led by the state Governor Solomon Lalong and Sports Minister Sunday Dare were all in attendance to offer supports to the team, as the team continue its domination.
But the team failed to take its chances as they allowed Simba grew confidence as the game progresses.
First half ended goalless but the away side returned as the better side in the second half and seized control of the game.
Clatous Chama broke the deadlock in the 53rd minute after a mixed up in the box of Plateau United and all the efforts of the team to come back proved abortive.
Simba SC will host Plateau United In the second leg of the preliminary round next weekend.
